HOW TO SIGN UP?

1. Go to ORDER and select: Subscription, A La Carte or Gift Certificate

2. Meals are delivered to your door

When do you Deliver?

A La Carte orders are delivered every Sunday.  

Subscription orders are delivered every second Sunday.

We will provide you with a two hour delivery window.  Orders must be in by 8pm on the Wednesday preceding the next delivery day.  Orders after this time will go out with the next cycle.

All meals will be delivered in an insulated freezer envelope.  Food should be put into the freezer immediately upon delivery.

WHY tummy thyme?

Not all baby food is created equal. 

Most pediatricians and nutritionists agree that lifelong eating habits are created in the first three years of a baby’s life.  Therefore, introducing a variety of healthy and adventurous tastes and textures will set you up with a more adventurous foodie later in life. More in our ABOUT page.

WHEN IS MY BABY READY FOR SOLIDS?

Each baby is different. Some babies are ready as early as four months and others may not exhibit cues until six months or more.  Where possible, consult your pediatrician or another trusted health professional to confirm your baby is ready.

WHEN ARE WE READY TO START OUR TUMMY THYME EXPERIENCE?

Once your baby has begun the weaning process, can sit on his/her own, and has experimented with a variety of singular ingredients and mastered the art of swallowing food, then it is time.

CAN I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION AT ANY TIME?

Yes, as long as you cancel by the Wednesday before the Sunday delivery. 

HOW MANY OUNCES OF FOOD IN A FROZEN CUBE AND HOW MANY SHOULD MY BABY EAT?

Our Signature Cube is approximately 3.5 ounces (similar to a store bought pouch).  Follow your baby's cues.  Some of our customers find one cube is the perfect size and others find their baby only needs half.  For the hungriest of babies, some may need more.  Once your cube is defrosted, it is refrigerator safe for two days.  Only heat the portion of the cube that you need.  Never refreeze a partially defrosted cube.

DOES tummy thyme USE SALT, SUGAR, ADDITIVES OR PRESERVATIVES in the baby food?

Nope! We leave it up to you to 'dress up' the food if you feel it needs it and your little one is ready.  For example, we have had parents add some mashed fruit for sweetness.

HEATING INSTRUCTIONS

Our frozen meals are easy to prepare.  Remove one cube directly from the freezer or defrost in the refrigerator overnight . The food can be heated on the stove top, or even in the microwave if needed in a pinch.  Please always check the temperature of the food before feeding it to your baby.  Refer to the instructions enclosed in your delivery.

CUSTOMIZATION & ALLERGIES

We do not use eggs or dairy in our baby food and will make every effort to accommodate dietary restrictions.  Some of our items do contain gluten and nuts, however we have alternatives to these items if your baby is avoiding these ingredients.  You can request a vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian subscription. We are a small business, but will do our best to try and cater to your baby’s individual needs when possible. 

PALATE EXPERIMENTATION

Don’t be disheartened if your baby isn’t as enthusiastic about the meals as you. Research shows that it can take a baby up to 15 times of trying a food before we can be certain if they like it or not.  From personal experience we can say this… the more adventurous you are with exposing your baby to tastes and textures, the more adventurous adult foodie you will have on your hands in later years.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY 

Cancellation - As mentioned above, you can cancel at any time as long as it is at least the Wednesday prior to the Sunday of the first delivery in your monthly subscription.

Refund - If for any reason your order will be delayed, you will be notified by email and/or by phone.  No refunds will be given for orders which are delivered within the same scheduled day.  We will do our best for you to receive your order on time.  If you are traveling or unable to accept delivery, please notify us 48-hours before a delivery day and we will reschedule it for you.

WHAT ARE YOUR SAFETY PROCEDURES?

Your baby’s health is extremely important to you, as mine is to me. So we leave nothing to chance in our food preparation. Tummy Thyme products are created in a commercial kitchen which has health permits from local and the State of California health departments. Our food meets the highest possible health and safety standards.
